A new job for Gingrich

A couple of weeks ago, I was dragged to a "seminar" on end of life care insurance. The presenter kept insisting that women should take especial notice because women are the ones who will be needing care... not because they live longer than men, but because it is likely that their spouse will not be willing to take care of them.

It was not the most enlivening of talks and I think that the insurance company in question should seriously consider engaging Gingrich to represent them:

-Serious voice over the image of a tired looking woman:
"Are you getting old, sick or just plain unattractive? Here in hospitals, all too often, we see women facing health issues on their own. Here's Newt Gingrich to tell you how that happens"

-Newt, sitting in in a leather armchair:
"Ladies, you owe it to your marriage to get serious health insurance. It's tough for a man to be around a sick woman (and let's face it, sickness makes women ugly), without all the whining about needing help. Like me, your husband needs an attractive partner who can support him through the trials of life, not some needy whiner who isn't even willing to consider a little marital openness. Get insurance. Now. You're not getting any younger"
